catching up on lots of happenings...yup.

its been weird and i really do hate being back at my parents house. things are just not looking so good. i really do think its better for them to just reall come to terms and break it off. its just gonna keep dragging it forever, its just a bit ridiculous.

**KASHIMA JINGU cruising in Chiba: well, he was going out to the CHOUSHI area since he had a golf invite from his old friends. But since he hurt his leg a bit he just was gonna go over there and meet them up to sorta apologize in person for the cancelation. so i tagged along (getting a free ride instead of taking the train or nothing, haaa) and we went and checked out this shrine/temple.
look, its the whole entire mountain that is guarded by the Shinto spirit.
this ODANGO (dumplings) were hot off the fire and they were the size of a golf ball, as you can see the stick is as thick as chopsticks.....haaa! yum!

theres my dad standing in front of the Koi pond/Shrine-in-water.(?)

Kashima Jingu was sooo beautiful. its in the middle of the forest area and it just was sooo secluded and tranquil with nature's energy. must say....possibly the most gorgeous park sight ive ever seen. Sorta feels like Yosemite but has this weird Shinto-spirit serene feeling in the air. it was a nice quality time with my papa, we got to take a nice walk inside and we didnt have to get irritable at all the whole time. i actually dont mind the time with my dad, he as an individual is a very generous and GOOD PERSON. (things only get bad when theres the 3 of us together, with mom and him) rating: SMILES, GOOD TIMES.

had a nice cup of tea at HATEA (tea espresso shop) in EBISU with my good friend-mentor, Ms. Keiko-sama. talk about good cup of CHAI.

***Oh and LOOK, i FINALLY got to grab some coffee and chat with SHOKO!!! maaan, its been soo long, and its just nice we got to sit and chat like the good ol' days. she makes you smile and happy so much. thats the type of girl she is, im sure Lisa agrees on this. She is actually gonna go back to grad school in the fall to Boston, so i wanna make sure we get to hang out more after i get back from PV. but man! i wanna go to the US....well i guess ill just have to go visit boston now. Panther girls, yay!!!

im still sorta been going thru ups-and-downs.....the usual mood swings, ya know. but the constant annoyance and anxiety sure bums me out. gotta snap out of it. im almost back in PV....!!! woo hoo!!!

nice excursions in April...aah good times, good times.

the weather is feeling a lot nicer and warm. this i appreciate a lot. no more layers of heavy coats and jakets. maybe only sweaters or light cardigans. yup yup.

a lot of stuffs been going on here. been some what busy...maan.
well, April was a busy month i mite say, just stuff to take care of and knowing that ill be going back to PV in May-June, wanted to get some stuff done and organized.

time sure is flying by fast! i cant believe my eyes its almost May already. i think i will list up some of the excursions of the month. yay, here we go.....

APRIL 9, 2009: DAICHAN
I got to go out to lunch and have a day out with justin! we even got the chance to stop by my brother's rstauraut in Shinbashi, TATSUNO OTOSHIGO. I was just too happy to see him and very proud to see other ppl eating at his place and i just wanted to be like, "hey thats my Brother, the chef!!" and i know i dont normally eat too much meat but it was pork hamburger patty which my brother kneeds the meat and makes daily so i wanted to try their "Black Sesame Pork Burger steak plate". Since i LOOOVE black sesame, it was GREAT.

my lunch set 800yen (top) ; Justin's "real meat(as he would call it)" Cheese Hamburger Patty lunch set 900yen (bottom)

there he is, my bro. hidden snapshop taken by Justin. nice.
a nice group shot of us 3. THANX!!

man, i look soo excited.
im sure i was overwhelmed with just this happiness that it tasted like the bestest patty ever! but the sesame made it more savory and not at all fatty. Justin had my brother's "true meat" (as he mite say) "Cheese hamburger steak". I just felt so honored that even the waiters there were so kind to us and my brother introduced me as "my sister". it was just awesome how i got to introduce justin to my brother and i got the chance to have my brother see "my LA part/american life" aspect. I wanted to be a part of my life in PV.

then we took a nice walk around Tokyo and sat and chatted over coffee. the usual thing but we got to spend way more time than we normally were able to, so i know its finals for Justin, but I was super appreciative of him hangin out with him. man, i cant believe he is almost done with his study-abroad and is going back to LA soon....awww.
well i have been able to go out to nice walks in the city and keeping busy with job searches and such. but its been great, ive found nice walking areas in myneighborhood and i would easily walk for about 2 hours.

Fun and peaceful:
* APRIL 12 : Kamakura with Yamada-san - this was awesome, we found such nice walking route in Kamakura with the help of her co-worker man ho lives out there. He showed us to the very secluded quiet hiking course where not that many tourists visit, so it was just a peaceful place.

i just loved these walk ways, so great.

this lunch set we had was soo yummy, fish was good and look, it was more than enough! all these is just for 1 person! and only 700yen!! very super healthy and japanese. =)

* APRIL 24 : Walking with Ms. Keiko-sama and Makino-san in the NAKAI area. the local nice peaceful area.
=) it turned out to be a cold day but it was a nice walk. =)

i will have a bit more to comment on this month, so ill do another post later. ciao.
**its Makiko's 1 year wedding anniversary and 27th Birthday! double cheers!! おめでとう。

Helping out my savior!

Im here in Shibuya today, i took a nice walk out with Ms. Keiko-sama as we met up at Ebisu station. I tried out this one International Yoga class. It wasnt too bad. It actually felt like the good old days where i was back in LA. Okidoki, i think our time is running out but I helped her create her own Blog today thru Blogger. I didnt know they made this in Japanese now. Awesome. So we can all have blogs and talk to one another.

But the walk to the Daikanyama area for the first time. it has a nice area.

It turned out to be a wonderful peaceful day. Nice breezy day and also, sunny.

Good point to remember: 週末は渋谷は いかないことのほうがいいでしょう。 theres my Japanese personal thought of the day. hahaha.

BECKY + SKYPE = ALL SMILES!!!

I just talked with Becky on Skype for HOURS!!! (seriously) we realized that we were chatting for about 2,3 hours. hahaha. I even got to see her with her camera. sucks that i didnt have my camera, but it was just soo awesome. I havent talked to her since the last time i was back in LA, but it felt like i just was sipping coffee with her yesterday or something. she made m day. i think this was one great thing about coming to my parents' place.

Since April 7th, today, is my mother's 60th birthday. I actually just woke her up at midnite and suprised her with this.....
TA DAAAAA!!!! HUUGE SUPER TAIYAKI!!!

its the Real deal, it has the red bean paste and its supposed to be equivallent to 35 of them fishies.

On April 2nd, i went and finally found the 2nd Japan location of Golden Spoon, Tokyo and treated myself to frozen yogurt.
Happy Birthday, Becky! we are all now 26!!!! crazy!

* this is little Japanese rice cake dumpling balls with red bean paste, black sesame paste and japanese soy-caramel. mini size. cute.
And as the days been passing and is already April, cherry blossoms are blooming this week since the weather is starting to warm up a bit. Just about 2 weeks ago i went to Tsukiji with my parents for their anniversary. It was quite a good outting. we walked around thefish market andgot some sushi(yum) and then walked over in the city. This was our very first time traveling around on the metro the 3 of us together or doing something in Tokyo. It was a good day. We ended our date at Illy's. nice shot.
cheers....
